Open Question: Help with this guy? Does he have feelings for me?

We've been getting together for a month now, kissing, make outs but I don't want full sex as this guy told me he's not looking for a girlfriend or anything serious. I fell asleep watching Capitalism: A adore Story last night. (Due to beer, not content of film.) I noticed weird things like graphs that are designed to look as though the data spikes during Reagan's time in office even though if you look carefully the spikes occur in 1996. right a canon 7d is a dslr that takes 1080p video. ive seen test footage but wanted to know if it could do this... so theres something in the background like... say a person and youre lookin at them with the camera over a bar... so can you change a setting whilst filming so that it focuses on the beer bottle in the foreground and makes the person blurry and then change the setting again to focuz on the background (person) and make the beer bottle blurry. sorry if i cant explain it very well. thanks in advance xx

Open Question: Anyone have a husband that does nothing?

I have a husband that does nothing he does not work outside of the home and stays home with our child but does no housework maybe like once every 3 to 4 weeks. I barely make enough to keep our heads about water and he seems so lazy, depressed, unmotivated and has anger issues and says hes looking for a job but i am working full time and looking for part time work and have two interviews set up tomorrow so how can he not find a job when he is looking for them in the same place that I am online? He always gets mad when i arrive home after working 8.5 hour day and have to do the dishes clean up the home and take care of my 9 month old every night, feedings, bed, bath ect...it gets me so enraged at him that i receive mad with my son i have no fuse left. I would NEVER hurt myself, son or husband (occasionally toss things not difficult and not anyone or anything) I just can't stand it anymore... he contributes to 450 of our monthly bills but other than that everything is on my shoulders rent, food, his cable/internet which he couldn't live without due to his game addiction of xbox and watching movies every day and having some beer while i am out at work and i don't think i can take it anymore! I have no family or friends where we live and my family is accross the states i have money saved up but not enough to receive myself and son and have a little one due in 3.5 months from now... i don't think i can do it on my income on my possess but i want to so badly! I need some advice on what I should do and if anyone else has this problem i have been researching every over the internet and every i can find is lady complaining that there husbands work every day and arrive home and do nothing he doesn't work outside or inside the home and gets mad with me and belittles me and has really no respect for me and screams that he doesn't want to hear it when i receive mad that i have to arrive home from work to more work every single day. and don't receive me started on the weekends I have to be the full time baby diaper changer, bather, feedings ect i adore my son and i adore being with him when i receive a chance to but i am really exhausted overworked and unhappy.

Open Question: How much of your daily caloric intake can be replaced with alcohol?

I just turned 21, and I have been on a 2,500 calorie a day diet. I've been maintaining my weight perfectly, so I don't want to increase my calories now that I turned 21. I'd like to probably adjust my intake to roughly 75% alcohol related calories and 25% food related calories. This would allow me 1,875 calories to be associated with various beers and liquors, but I'm not sure if I even need a full 625 calories dedicated to food. Can I reduce this anymore, or should I just keep it where it is? I'm not kidding. I'm going to add vitamin supplements to my diet. I think that should take care of every nutritional aspects. I like a lot of mixed drinks that are very high in calories, and after 3 of them, I'm already approaching the 1,800 calorie mark. A vitamin supplement should take care of my nutritional value needs right? I don't look how this would be a problem if I'm still meeting nutritional values and not going over daily calorie limits.

Open Question: My boyfriend drinks A LOT. Is he okay?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 6 years and drinks a lot. He drinks 6-8 beers a day which worries me. When he stops drinking or cuts down for a day, he sweats in his snooze. He complains of pains in his side and below the shoulder and has really bad digestion. He has runny poop when he drinks. I would like for him to receive checked out but we can't afford it, what can we do? Its really difficult for him to quit but I fear for his health that if he doesn't soon something bad could happen.

Open Question: Ive found some beers in my car and theres been some real hot days are they off or cani put them in the fridge?

I found a couple of beers in my car who knows how long theyve been there and theres been some real hot days in Perth, Australia in the last few days, over 35 degrees C so who knows what the temp is inside. Open Question: Christians, do you have a problem with this kind of drinking?

I arrive from a Conservative town and most people are completely against alcohol, down to teaching that Jesus was really drinking grape juice. Truth be told, I think a lot of them were "wilder" in their younger days. They probably abused alcohol which is why I think they have an every or nothing view about it. Anyway, my family is disgusted that I drink about once a week. Usually, it's when I go out. I'll have a couple beers when I eat pizza with friends, or a margarita when we go to fancier restaurants. My family says this is horrible and a bad witness. But I'm over 21, I don't receive drunk. The most I ever had was 3 drinks, and I got queasy from that so I usually stick to two. Why do Christians look down on this? Is it just the ones in my community?

Open Question: I would appreciate a little input... about our sex life.?

Here’s the deal. My husband and I used to be one of those couples that had sex, good sex, 3-4 times a week at least. Then I had my son. During my pregnancy he wanted very little to do with me sexually, and as soon as I was really showing I pretty much had to beg for sex. Now, my son is almost two. We still haven’t gotten back what used to be. I’m lucky if my husband has sex with me once a week. And lately, he’d rather go off and drink than spend any time with me. I’ve even asked flat out for him to go to bed with me that night, only to have him go off to a buddy’s home, drink a few (or more) beer, then arrive home and make a needy attempt at sex. Anymore, when we do have sex, he hardly ever finishes. I don’t know what’s going on. He says work and kids and life just have him where he doesn’t want to have sex, but what is so bad about our life and kids that he can’t be glad? He tells me I put too much emphasis on us not having sex, but to me it’s very important. I’m not a nympho but I like sex. There are nights that I have to work up my nerve to turn to my husband, and 8/10 times I will turn to him only to have him turn me down. It’s so humiliating and embarrassing… Any advice?

Open Question: Would having a little alcohol while breastfeeding effect the baby's development?

Could this hurt the baby's liver or brain? Might it have irreversible effects? I had a half a bottle of beer one night but I cannot remember if I spaced at least a couple of hours between consumption and breastfeeding. I'm worried. I vow to never drink again while breastfeeding unless it's just a sip. That night, I feel asleep a lot easier than usual, but I don't believe I was drunk. Either way, could I have hurt my little one? She was probably 5 weeks old then. I feel so awful!

Open Question: What's a good and inexpensive red wine for someone who hates wine?

My husband and I rarely drink. I especially dislike the taste of alcohol, I don't care for beer or difficult liquor and will only partake when the beverage is on the "sweet" side (i.e.-apple cider ale, Mike's lemonade, rum with fruit juice... etc). I would like to start drinking of red wine, mainly for the health benefits. However, since I have the palate of a three-year-old, it's difficult to find wine I can tolerate. Mostly, I find wine of any type to be too bitter and acidic tasting--just not pleasant at every; I can barely finish a tiny glass. So, I haven't been able to "train" my buds to appreciate wine, much less drink it without making the "yuck" face. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive red wine that won't entirely offend my infantile taste buds? I live in the suburbs of a big city, so I do have access to plenty of choices, including Trader Joe's, Cost Plus, and Whole Foods. (please, red wine suggestions only--not interested in white or rosé). Thanks! PS-I did try a red wine once that I liked (can't remember type or vintner). It was Italian, very expensive, very delicate, and nearly flavorless (there had a very faint oak taste, but zero bitterness and no acidic aftertaste). I haven't tried anything like it since. Any ideas what it could have been? I want to answer Gerry G's question with a question: Why waste time answering at every when you can better spend your time watching "Sideways" and snickering snobbishly at anyone who can't "appreciate" life on as many finely attuned levels as you do?

really? the first time? Anytime I have tried to watch his show and try to understand where he is coming from; I wanted my hour back. Has Glenn Beck failed on every accounts in his conspiracy theory laden hour long bash fest? suggested category: beer, wine, and spirits.....ROFL.

Open Question: Middle Eastern Liquors?

Is there a regional type of liquor from the Middle East? For example, Japan has Sake, Mexico has Tequila, The Greeks have Ouzo, The French drink wine, the Germans drink beer.... is there are regional liquor product from the Middle East?

Open Question: How can I tolerate alcohol and why does it make me want to gag after each swig.?

When I drink alcohol, ANY alcohol, even light beer, it makes me gag, even if its the smallest swig. It's like, once the drink hits my taste buds, I receive this horrible taste that gets more intense by the second until I want to gag. Then after a few seconds of taste I receive an even WORSE after-taste. After one beer worth, my stomach already begins to receive queezy and I want to toss up which each swig or shot I take. [ Note to the Anti-Alcoholic Hippies ] My friends and my brother every drink to have a good time. I have been drunk once, and it was a really fun time. My friends and I every drink responsibly and wouldn't be considered alcoholics, it's not like were addicts, it's just fun to do every couple weeks or so. So keep me the "You shouldn't drink, it wastes your life away" speech please. Those answers won't receive BA. Anyways... Last week, ,me, my brother, and a couple friends were playing quarters with just regular Coors Light. It didn't take but about 20 shots of it (About a beer and a half) before I told them I had to quit drinking before I threw up. ( They ofc nagged on about me being a females bodily orifice hahaha ). Is this just me having unlucky taste buds? Or could this be linked to a medical or bodily chemical condition? (Doesn't necessarily have to be an illness). A lot of people tell me it can be an acquired taste, yet the more I drink, the worse it seems to receive. Is there any way this problem could go away or anything I can do about it? I have tried some mixed drinks. The night we played quarters I started chasing with coke and it didn't help. If anything it made my stomach feel worse. About a month ago I went to a birthday party where they served Red (No clue what flavor) Pucker mixed with Mountain Dew and Vodka. The taste from this was even MORE disgusting than regular beer. That stuff made me scrunch and twist my face, it was so bad lol. I am 20 years old... plz keep me the "Your too young" crap. I will be 21 in july, I am close enough lol. And no I do not take peer pressure, I often need to explain to friends at partyies that I don't plan on drinking too much because of this problem. NO I am not pregnant, I am a MAN LOL (Don't let the long hair fool you). "When you drank, did you happen to receive sick at every from being drunk? That first and only time I got drunk, I drank Crown Royal, Vodka, and Natural Light. I drank the crown first which I found out later was a bad idea. Needless to say I threw up at the end of the night. I still felt sick so I had to place the trashcan below my head while I lay on the bed with my head handing over the side. LOL (Yes It was THAT bad lol). My head was spinning so quick and I was getting paranoid. Since then I've gagged at the site or odor of it.

Open Question: Why do college students drink when they're underage?

It seem like when I originally asked this question everybody who answered was bitter and upset so let me reprase it. I say college students because they're adults and should know wrong from right. I know people have been drinking since they were 12, 13 or whatever. Yes, I have been invited to parties and went, but was always man enough to say "I don't drink". I have never been or never will be peer pressured. I am a college student in my early mid 20's. I don't drink at every, but if you're at least 21 I don't care how much alcohol you consume. Here's an example I used before.....imagine a 18, 19 year old going to college to become a teacher and interns at a elementary school. Friday night the student is drunk, then Saturday morning theirs a d-i-c-k in her mouth and by Monday she is telling her students "Don't break the law", "Stay away from people who do wrong", and "Don't drink beer until you of legal age". The shits hypocritical to me. Again, please don't receive mad at me because I ask its just a question don't take it personal. I had to repost this question because too many people took it personal and out on me for asking a question. I want to thank Rondi and blossom for giving me real mature answers and not that bullshit. Again, if you drink and you're 21 I don't give a damn, I'm just curious about adults who are 18-20. Noah, I'm not doctor, but your brain is not fully develop until the age of 21, plus its the law. I don't make this shit up.

Open Question: Failed attempt at being nice to husband. What should I try now?

We've had our troubles, but for the past few days, I've done my best to be the best wife I can. Last night for dinner, I got crab legs and lobster and made a nice dinner. He blew me and the kids off and drank beer and played video games while we ate. Around 8 he left, drunk, to stay out every night with his brother. I've been trying to be nice, but to me that was like the ultimate blow off. And to top it, he rolled home around 9:30 and is blowing off work too. It's 11:15 and he's sleeping. This is a 35 year old man. What should I do now? I feel disrespected, laughed at, and stupid. Should I just let this go, say something, or what? Help.
